Whilst the software in the latest version of the app (1.0.7+) does a good job of removing duplicates it's unfortunately not perfect and may have inadvertently hidden some shops that are valid.
If you notice one, please let me know my raising a ticket on here (tap the "+" button to the right of the search bar and raise a support ticket letting me know which shop has disappeared and I will fix it for you.
